100% Organic cotton. Also vegan and reduced CO₂ footprint. We are slowly moving into making more green choices and this is just the perfect product to start it, even the god of forests himself is pictured in it. Now you can choose something sustainable without looking boring and bland. We want to change the stereotype of sustainable clothing only being earthy colored tunics with flowery prints.

Slightly wider fit allows you to move around and let loose with attitude. Plus, the  fabric feels like a dream against your skin and the shirt is cropped just the right amount so the confidence boost is inevitable.

TAPIO:

Tapio is a god of forests in old Finnish mythology, also known as the king of forests. He was greatly respected, but also feared. It was in Tapio’s hands whether you were worthy of receiving good fortune in hunting or traveling in his lands, you were essentially just a guest there. Prayers and sacrifices were made when entering his domain’s. This mighty forest king also had magical powers, he could transform into any animal or tree when necessary.

As every king or god, he also had his assistants who made sure everybody respected his kingdom. Trolls, spirits, goblins and even some predators. They kept an eye on you when you stepped into his lands.  If you gave sacrifices to the fierce forest god and took only what you needed while visiting the woods, he rewarded you with good fortune and safe passing. If you did otherwise, Tapio could send predators and falling branches through your way. If he was in an extra vengeful mood, he could also hex you to get lost in the forest without ever getting out.

Every single tree and animal in the forests was sacred and in Tapio’s possession, you could hunt and gather only what he decided to gave you. If you went home after your hunting trip with good amount of quarry, there was no thanking solely on your skills. The most gratitude belonged to Tapio.

It is said that Tapio is still wandering in the forests, keeping an eye on the delicate ecosystem and making sure his legacy endures…
